3rd day in Japan

5 Mar

So it’s now the 3rd day I’ve been here and I’m having the time of my life. Spent the first 2 days in traditional japanese royokan with a great group of people – people from Canada, Australia, Germany, London, and France. Here’s a pic of the hostel.

We went to the famous tsukiji fish market (largest in the world), emperial palace, the government buildings that overlook all of Tokyo, and then went to Shiboya for the night (busiest intersection in the world).

We also checked out some Japanese arcades where there was a 16 person game of Gundam wing and many old people playing slot machines simultaneously. The culture here is great, people are super nice, and the city is extremely clean! Now that I’ve parted my first group, I’ve met a few girls from France and we may go out to Roppongi for the night! Here’s the view from the new hostel:

5 more days in Tokyo an then Kamakura, mt fuji, Osaka, Kyoto, and then end the trip with a few days at a nice hot spring hostel in nikko to relax. Well that’s the plan for now. It’ll probably change quickly haha.
